CD - "Ready" featuring David "Fathead" Newman...
2003 - Sean's latest CD is an eclectic mix of blues originals with
the legendary tenor sax and flute of David "Fathead" Newman. The
CD also includes a video clip of a live performance at BIrdland
of the John Lennon Song Award Winner "American Jones", and an after-show
interview. -
John Lennon Contest
What a year! In January 2001 I was informed that I had won the grand
prize in the jazz category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
This meant that I received cash and prizes and a contract with EMI
Music Publishing. In early May, I performed the winning song and
other originals at Birdland with the Lew Anderson Big Band. This
was filmed by Andy Anderson for RAWDIO , and will be shown soon
at WaveExpress.com.

I
was invited by the JLSC to perform at the winter NAMM show in Anaheim,
CA. (see photo gallery), and won again as a finalist for "Sugar
On The Rim", a song on my latest CD, "READY". Godin
guitars of Canada endorsed me for one of their Multiac Grand Concert
Duet nylon string model guitars. Neumann for a KMS105 mic, and Summit
cases for some great gig bags.
